Buying a Home - Quick Step by Step Guide

1. Interview and select a mortgage broker

You may want to keep your mortgage with your bank. You may want to find the best interest rate. Samara and her team work with mortgage brokers from every bank to best serve our buyers. Just ask us for our list.

2. Get pre-approved
Once you pick a mortgage broker you would like to work with, submit an application right away. Your pre-approval will give you strength in negotiations and will give you a better idea of your budget.

3. Make a short list of wants and needs
Decide what your must haves and wants are for your future purchase. With that, we will show you all available homes in your budget.

4. Visit, visit, visit
There is a sweet spot to how many homes you should visit. Too little and you may not be totally convinced in your purchase. Too much and you may end up confused.

5. Make an offer
Once you find your dream home, we will walk you through the offer process.

6. Remove conditions of your offer
Typical conditions include: inspection, financing and review of documentation. Our team assists in every step from helping to book the inspector to looking over documentation together.

7. Notary closing
Our team will ensure the notary has all proper documentation for the property and from the bank in order to ensure a smooth closing.
